This full-size football helmet is a must-have for avid fans of the Kansas City Chiefs or NFL collectors. It is signed by Len Dawson, the legendary Hall of Fame Quarterback who led the Chiefs to their immortal Super Bowl IV victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the 1969 season. Len played for the Chiefs from from 1962 to 1975 and led them from American Football League (AFL) to the NFL. This helmet is beautifully signed in white sharpie and comes with a COA helmet sticker from Total Sports Enterprises. Unfortunately, there is no paper COA.
Len was a 6-time AFL All-Star and a 5-time All-AFL selection. He led the Chiefs to a huge upset over the NFL Champion Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV and he was voted the Super Bowl MVP. He is also a member of the AFL All-Time Team. Len made the Pro Bowl in the NFL and he was named the NFL Man of the Year in 1973.
He is one of the great quarterbacks of all-time and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987. After he retired, Len was a longtime NFL broadcaster and he hosted HBO's Inside the NFL for 25 years. Sadly, Len passed away in 2022 at the age 87. This helmet is in excellent condition with no known scratches or marks. It is sure to be a prized possession for any Chiefs fan or NFL collector.
